The class will start when the insects are more active. So be ready to explore and capture breathe-taking macro images.

The saturday of the event, i was unable to make it due to health issues, however, the instructor reached out to me to find out how i was doing and to reschedule another day time to work on the art project. The instructor was very kind, and concerned about me receiving the art instruction i registered for as well as my health. I will definitely sign up for classes with this group again. Thank you 🙏 very kindly!

What I enjoyed the most about the event was the opportunity to meet two talented local artists. It was a casual encounter, which is why the focus was more centered on the artworks of the group members, which wasn't exactly what I had in mind. Engaging in conversations with them about their techniques and concepts was a valuable experience that enriched my understanding of art. We share some time together and did a bit of drawing.

My grandfather started the first ice-cream company in Chicago. Delivering ice-cream to corner drug stores by horse and buggy. I recently visited the area where the factory was and loved the old brick buildings. I thought about all the stories and history that happened in these old structures. Everyone has a different story and background and sees the world distorted with their own backgrounds and understating of the world. Please take a look at this city. What stories unfold? What do you see? I

This piece was created for an art exhibition called "In the Style of." I decided to do a portrait of my daughter-in-law Stefanie in the style of Tamara De Lempicka. Tamara was an incredible Art Deco artist. Some referred to her style as soft cubism. Many are not familiar with her work when you mention her name. If you see her work, you will recognize it. She was a portrait painter that was ahead of her time. There is an upcoming Broadway play about this complex woman in the spring of 2024

I had never really done any portraits in my art. I felts little intimidated by them. Not wanting to make them look weird or disproportionate I then realized that with every person I encountered I was studying their features. I started practicing a few months ago and it came to me pretty quickly. With every portrait I feel more confident. I just had to over come that fear and uncertainty and it just spilled into the paper. I can?t wait to see how much better it can get. I suggest everyone try i
